Teaser trailer, clips and images from the The Tiger's Apprentice animated feature film.
I had the pleasure of working as a Compositing Supervisor with an amazing team of talented artists during the production of the film .
Here is an article about my time at Mikros working on this project: Mikros Animation Article
Compilation of shots composited at The SPA Studios during the production of 'Klaus'.
My role was as Compositing co-Supervisor alongside Adam Parker.
I had the chance and time to comp some shots and I also designed/build a toolset for the compositing team.
Shots breakdown below demo reel.
Compilation of shots done at Illumination MACGUFF at the Compositing department during the production of 'Despicable Me 3'
My role was to compose the layers provided by the Lighting and Matte Painting departments in a final shot and compose them in stereo.
I had the chance to develop a in-house nuke (gizmo) tool ¨TV_Effects¨
It allows to generate various looks and effects similar to a VHS, Led screen display, CRT monitor or Cellphone to name a few. The tool was done entirely with TCL scripting and Python callbacks. The gizmo allows the artist to generate several layers of effects in a friendly GUI with a minimum impact on memory efficiency and node weight.
The gizmo is stereo ready, and it was used in several sequences throughout the film.

My role was to compose the layers provided by the Lighting and Matte Painting departments in a final shot and compose them in stereo.
Compilation of shots done at Jellyfish Pictures at the Compositing department during the production of 'Spirit Untamed'
I worked as a Senior/Key Compositor, using layers provided by the Lighting and Matte Painting departments in final shots.
A galaxy rethought by Onur Senturk with greedy cereals as asteroids, which explode by the force of flavors. TROUBLEMAKERS.tv produced this film for McCann Paris that takes us to the edge of the universe and marks a power through the dynamics of its animation as well as its colorful environment reflecting an explosive work.
My role was as a Senior Compositor, responsable of making sure that the art direction provided by the Director was followed and the desired look would be achieved in budget and in time.
I attached a project breakdown that shows the process of the compositing.
Produced by TROUBLEMAKERS.tv for the French agency Mazarine, it is an ongoing 360 global campaign for the Alhambra collection. This first film takes us on an exciting adventure through multiple sceneries. While following a graceful butterfly, we discover the iconic jewelry collection Alhambra. Infused with a springtime atmosphere, this film is a fresh approach to Burcu & Geoffrey’s elegant animation style.
My role was as a Senior Compositor and Colorist. I was responsable of making the final shots ensuring that the look desired by the Directors was achieved.
Mika, Pilot and Troublemakers were made to meet each other and who better than Lucas Zanotto to tell the story of this creative idyll? In this film produced by Troublemakers, the talented director was able to transcribe the colorful world of Mika and the brand that is unique to Pilot's 100th anniversary. A world filled with energy, moose graphics, contrasting colors, unconventional ideas, music that makes you want to dance, and pens that resonate with writing.
My role was as a Senior Compositor making the final composited from different Plate Elements and CG renders.

Digital Compositing Reel for the Shortfilm ``AMO´´ in 2016
My role in the project was to, design, prepare and supervise the visual effects elements required to produce the digital composited shots. As well as compose the final shots delivered. Develop a graphical language and animate the digital screens.
From an early stage of the project it was clear that the plates required to compose some of the shots where not defined, so I took the concept of the simple visual narrative and designed the vfx in a simple and effective way of shooting.
The exterior house CG renders were done by Jeronimo Cabezas. And additional Compositing was done by Dani Garcia.
The concept behind the visual aesthetics was a mixture of victorian aesthetics and retro graphic style. Very simple and clear shapes with almost decorative use but with a clear functionality. The main goal was not to give a clear indications on what it was going in the AMO´s mind, but rather to give an interpretation of the ``senses´´of the robot.
